Simon is an extremely experienced Solicitor and Head of the firm’s Care Department, who acts mainly for children in Care Proceedings.
After obtaining his Law Degree, Simon completed his Articles with a Coventry firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 1994. Throughout his career Simon has worked in Coventry and Warwickshire, undertaking a range of family work including divorce, injunctions and children work.
In 2011, Simon became a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, since which time he has specialised exclusively in representing children, parents and grandparents in Care Proceedings brought by a number of Local Authorities, including Coventry City Council, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire County Councils.
Simon has been involved in extremely complex cases and always seeks to ensure that the welfare of the child is paramount throughout the Court process.
Simon has also been successful in representing many parents and grandparents during the stressful process of Care Proceedings, including where parents have been accused of harming their children.
In his spare time Simon enjoys walking his dog, going to the cinema, running and cycling (both slowly!)
