Heather graduated from Coventry University and qualified as a solicitor in 1989. With decades of experience behind her, she now manages the firm while continuing to practise within her specialist area of family law.

Heather advises clients across all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial remedy matters and children proceedings. Her experience also extends to complex care cases and Children Act matters, including cases heard in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

She is deeply committed to providing an excellent standard of service and takes pride in supporting clients through what are often some of the most challenging times in their lives. As Managing Partner, Heather has also focused on growing the firm’s profile, strengthening its brand presence, increasing social media engagement and actively networking within the local community. The firm recently sponsored the local Eternal Lights Memorial Service and Heather is keen for the firm to be involved in charitable efforts with support given to Mary Ann Evans Hospice and Myton Hospice.

Heather is passionate about ensuring Willsons Solicitors is the “go-to” firm for individuals and families across Nuneaton, Bedworth and the wider Warwickshire area. The firm has been nominated for, and has won, awards through the Warwickshire Law Society, recognising the quality of its work and commitment to clients.

Beyond her legal work, Heather is Chair of DACS (Domestic Abuse Counselling Service), a charitable organisation providing vital counselling support to victims of domestic abuse across Nuneaton and Warwickshire.

Outside the office, Heather enjoys cooking (and eating!), weight training to stay active, spending time with her six grandchildren, walking her dog Jake and travelling whenever she gets the chance.

Annamaria qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 after graduating from De Montfort University, Leicester. She has been serving clients in Nuneaton and Bedworth for over three decades, building a reputation for trusted, local legal advice.

Annamaria began her career specialising in family law, gaining extensive experience in navigating sensitive and often complex personal matters. In recent years, she has focused on private client work, where her understanding of family dynamics continues to be invaluable.

She advises clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyship applications, Probate and estate administration. Annamaria is known for taking the time to truly understand each client’s circumstances, ensuring advice is practical, clear and tailored to their individual needs.

Clients value Annamaria for her approachable manner and the genuine care she brings to her work. She understands that private client matters often arise during emotional or uncertain times, and she strives to make the process as straightforward and reassuring as possible. Her priority is always to ensure clients feel comfortable, supported and confident in the decisions they are making.

Outside of the office, Annamaria enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a keen rugby union supporter, following Leicester Tigers, and also enjoys watching national rugby, athletics and football.

Pete started working for a local firm of solicitors in 1978, studying in his spare time to qualify as a Legal Executive before attending the college of Law in Chester to qualify as a solicitor.

Pete is the Head of the Conveyancing department and enjoys dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing.  He enjoys dealing with clients and, wherever possible, will try to reduce the pressure on clients during what can be a very stressful process. Pete will always try to cut through the conveyancing jargon to make sure that information is provided in a format that can be understood.

Pete has a team of people that he trusts to do everything they can to look after clients and if required to go the extra mile to make the conveyancing experience as seamless as possible. There are regular training sessions within the department to ensure that service levels are maintained and the client experience is made as user-friendly as possible.

Whilst Pete and his team always try to achieve their clients' desired timescale for completion,  there are times when this simply cannot be achieved due to factors beyond the control of clients or the firm. We will always take time to provide information to our clients to explain any delay.

In his spare time, Pete enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and going to see bands at music venues and pubs all over the country.
