Heather graduated from Coventry University before qualifying as a Solicitor a long time ago in 1989. She joined Willsons Solicitors in 1991 and has established the family law department and built from scratch the care department of the firm. In the family department Heather acts for both children and parents, foster carers and relatives in cases involving social care. She has had a number of cases heard at the Court of Appeal.

Heather undertakes all family work also acting for divorcing and separating couples involving disputes regarding their children or finances.

Heather frequently attends Court to represent her clients both in the local family Court in Nuneaton and in the County Court in Coventry or Birmingham. She has had cases in the High Court and also in the Court of Appeal regarding children matters.

Heather likes to put her clients at ease and gives a sensible overview to her clients as to the likely outcome of the case and explains clearly what the Court’s approach to their case is likely to be guiding them through the whole legal process.

Outside of work Heather is the Chair of DACS (Domestic Abuse Counselling Service), a charitable organisation offering counselling to the victims of domestic abuse in Nuneaton and Warwickshire.

Heather loves to cook and eat out and because of this is constantly battling to keep fit and loves attending the Gym and is a recent convert to Yoga.

Heather enjoys spending time with her grandchildren who also keep her active.

Annamaria graduated from the De Montfort University in Leicester before qualifying as a Solicitor in 1997. She has practiced law locally in Nuneaton and Bedworth since 1985 and has worked as a solicitor locally since qualifying. 

At the beginning of her career, Annamaria dealt with all aspects of family law. In recent years, Annamaria has turned her skills to private client work. Her skills from her days as a family lawyer have stood her in good stead for this, as often preparing Wills needs an understanding of family dynamics.

Annamaria is very excited about the merger, and to be a part of a dynamic busy practice headed by the senior partner Bob Willson. She is working closely with Bob in the Private Client department, preparing Wills, and dealing with Probate for clients as well as Lasting Powers Of Attorneys, which are needed by most of our clients.

Annamaria considers her strengths to be her client relationships. She has an excellent rapport with her clients and will strive to ensure that they are provided a good service that meets their needs and expectations. Annamaria offers both understanding and compassion in what can often be very difficult circumstances. The priority for her is to ensure that clients are made to feel comfortable and at ease,knowing they are in capable hands. 

Away from work, Annamaria loves nothing better than taking her spaniel Basil for long walks and spending time with her friends and family. Summer months keep her busy gardening, which she finds relaxing, and she also has a 9 hive apiary which keeps her busy. Any excuse to watch local team Leicester Tigers or any national rugby match is a bonus.

Pete started working for a local firm of solicitors in 1978, studying in his spare time to qualify as a Legal Executive before attending the college of Law in Chester to qualify as a solicitor.

Pete is the Head of the Conveyancing department and enjoys dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing.  He enjoys dealing with clients and, wherever possible, will try to reduce the pressure on clients during what can be a very stressful process. Pete will always try to cut through the conveyancing jargon to make sure that information is provided in a format that can be understood.

Pete has a team of people that he trusts to do everything they can to look after clients and if required to go the extra mile to make the conveyancing experience as seamless as possible. There are regular training sessions within the department to ensure that service levels are maintained and the client experience is made as user-friendly as possible.

Whilst Pete and his team always try to achieve their clients' desired timescale for completion,  there are times when this simply cannot be achieved due to factors beyond the control of clients or the firm. We will always take time to provide information to our clients to explain any delay.

In his spare time, Pete enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and going to see bands at music venues and pubs all over the country.

Lacey has 19 years’ experience working in residential conveyancing.

Lacey is responsible for a high volume of residential conveyancing to include sales, purchases, transfer of equity and re-mortgages. These can be either Freehold or Leasehold transactions.

Lacey takes pride in helping Clients to understand the conveyancing process and managing their expectations. She also understands the stress that Clients feel when dealing with property transactions and will always offer a friendly service to try and make this as simple and stress-free as possible.

Out of work, Lacey enjoys reading, spending time with her family and volunteering at a local stables as a pony club leader.

Taylor has had 6 Years working in residential Conveyancing starting as an Apprentice after leaving school. She has dealt with transactions from start to finish as she is now progressing to be a Trainee Conveyancer and enjoys all aspects of Conveyancing. She is always happy to assist clients during the course of the transaction assisting them in any way she can as she understands this can be a stressful time for clients.

Outside of work Taylor enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Sarah is the Head of Commercial Property and Team Arbury and has got 25 years’ experience within residential and commercial property.

As the head of Team Arbury, Sarah, with the help of her team, undertakes all aspects of residential conveyancing from property purchases, sales, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, leasehold transactions and new build properties. Sarah also has a wealth of experience within auction sale and purchases.

Sarah also undertakes all aspects of commercial property transactions as the Head of Commercial Property here at Willsons, which can range from business sales or purchases, commercial lease transactions, commercial property sales and purchases and land sales.

Sarah has great relationships with local Estate Agents and other professionals and prides herself on building and maintaining these connections.

Sarah prides herself on her excellent client care skills and in assisting clients throughout their transactions in order to help them to understand the process fully and ensure that the process is stress free for all clients.  Sarah has a great Team working alongside her who are always on hand to assist.

Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and is her children’s biggest supporter on the football touchline.

Kian completed his Law Degree and subsequent Master’s Degree in 2024 at De Montfort University in Leicester.

During his studies Kian worked within the Commercial and Residential Property department assisting other Fee Earners and building his knowledge. Kian is now a Fee Earner in the Commercial and Residential Property Department and undertakes a range of work from the buying and selling of residential and commercial property, the creation of commercial leases, re mortgage and transfer of equity transactions and the buying or selling of new build properties. Kian also works closely with Sarah Edgington on the vast number of auction transactions which they handle.

Kian fully understands the stress and worry that can come with all commercial and residential transactions and strives to ensure that all of his clients stay fully informed and understand the entire process of the transaction, reducing any worries or stress that the client may have.

Kian is currently undertaking a qualification to become a Chartered Legal Executive and is set to qualify in summer 2027.

Outside of work, Kian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and is a season ticket holder at Coventry City FC.

Stephanie has previously worked in Coventry and qualified as a solicitor in 2009 establishing a strong reputation in her field of private client work, offering advice and assistance to clients both in the preparation of their Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate.

Stephanie has extensive experience in drafting these documents and making applications to the Court of Protection, which can be complex.

Stephanie is dedicated to supporting her clients with empathy and expertise, guiding them through upsetting and challenging times with reassurance, care and understanding. Stephanie always goes the extra mile to make sure that clients understand the process and what is involved.

Stephanie is happy to meet clients face to face in the office or via Microsoft Teams or by visiting you at your home if required.

Stephanie is well regarded in her local community for her charity efforts and has worked closely with Coventry and Warwickshire Mind and The Myton Hospice. Stephanie is keen to support Willsons in their charitable work since joining the firm in May 2025.

Outside of work, Stephanie serves as Vice-Chair of Governors at a local secondary school, a volunteering role she finds incredibly rewarding. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her young family, travelling, cooking and reading.

Georgia joined Willson’s File Opening Team in 2022, and through her dedication and hard work, she was promoted to Trainee Solicitor in our Private Client Department in 2024.

Georgia graduated from the University of Warwick in 2023 with a 2:1 with honours in her undergraduate degree. She is now pursuing her master’s degree at BPP University while actively working towards the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE), aiming to qualify as a solicitor in 2026.

In 2024, Georgia was proud to receive the ‘Junior Lawyer of the Year Award,’ a highlight in her legal career that recognised her professional achievements and her commitment to community service. Her work with the local charity, Mary Ann Evans, has been especially meaningful to her and has made a tangible impact in the community.

Outside of work, Georgia cherishes time with her family and friends, who play an important role in her life as well as her miniature dachshund, Richmond, who is never far from her side.
